What an evening of great fun for Mercor’s Toronto office employees and select clients at the Brampton Curling Club! Not only did we raise over $2000 with this event, but the experience and camaraderie that resulted was made even more memorable with the discovery (for most attendees) of this venerable sport that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Most had only had a glimpse of curling on TV, but little did they suspect that this engaging sport would give them such a workout (and sore muscles the next morning!). With all the positive comments and the great cause it supports, Mercor is more than inclined to add this event to its annual events’ calendar.
Our previously published story of Arrow Furniture’s success story for their conversion to LED lighting in their stores has been chosen to be G.E. Lighting’s case study showcasing their LED PAR lamps used on the project. MERCOR’s contribution to bring this project to fruition and the collaboration with the client has been highlighted as well.

The high scoring night (final score: 10-7 in favour of the Mercor Panthers over the Corlite Canadiens) was another fun-filled event that once again reunited some of MERCOR’s top brass and employees, and select clients and suppliers to flaunt their skills on the Bell Centre ice this past Friday, November 30th.
The evening was a great way for all participants to create new bonds and strengthen existing ones. The players also had the opportunity to display their competitive side while still sharing some laughs on Bell Centre’s famed ice rink – making this friendly competition a memorable encounter for all (even for the lucky passenger on the Zamboni!)!
MERCOR would like to thank again all the participants of this year’s event for another successful annual Mercor Hockey Classic, and we hope to continue this tradition that proves once again that business and pleasure make a great mix!
